Ipswich Show Society, formally known as the Ipswich Agricultural and Horticultural Society, was founded on March 14, 1866. It was renamed the Queensland Pastoral and Agricultural Society on August 28, 1872. On May 13, 1873, the first event took place in Churchill before moving to it’s current home on Warwick Road in 1877.
The Ipswich Show is one of their initiatives to promote and encourage the development of pastoral, agricultural, horticultural, and industrial sectors in Queensland’s Ipswich and West Moreton District. Mark your calendar if you want to be a part of history in 2022!
