Holiday makers at Best Western Ipswich Heritage Motor Inn can look forward to another delightful celebration of country music at the annual Mutdapilly Country Music Muster.

Taking place this coming 25 - 26 March 2011 at Mutdapilly Music Muster site in Coleyville Road. Holiday makers at our motel accommodation in Ipswich can expect two cheerful days filled with of music, dancing and great family friendly activities at Mutdapilly Country Music Muster 2011. The event began twelve years ago where a few mates gathered in a backyard in the small town of Mutdapilly to celebrate a 50th Birthday party. After a few cartons of beer and lots of good music, the Mutdapilly Country Music Muster was soon created.

This year’s event will be on its 10th run and will be featuring fun activities that will surely add for a great entertainment for the entire family. Holiday guests at our Ipswich family accommodation can kick up their heels and dance the night away with the tremendous Muster Moonlight Dance that will officially start off the festivities. Other event activities include Aussie Big Brekkie Cook Off where participants especially moms will have the chance to showcase their kitchen skills and judge the best one in cooking and preparing Aussie breakfast. Classic car enthusiasts like most dads will definitely enjoy Unique and Classic Car Show and Shine where participants can get to display your prized decades old vehicles. The festival will also present Variety Talent Search which is open for kids between the age of 5 and 17 years, this event is all about the kids showing us their talents on stage.

Aside from fun filled activities, the event will also showcase live performances from some of the most talented singers in the country. Guests at our Ipswich self catering accommodation will get the chance to see and hear country legend James Blundell, Paul Green, Australian Idol finalist Kate Cook, Brisbane pub icon Tuffy, Smoking Crawdads, the winner of the 2010 Champion of Champions Tommy Contor, and the first reunion performance of Rusty and the Ayers Rockettes.
